Triflumuron is a benzoylphenylurea insecticide. Triflumuron is a chitin synthesis inhibitor used to control insects pests such as mosquitos and flies.Pure product is white solid. m.p.195.1ºC, vapor pressure 40×10-9Pa(20ºC). The solubility at 20ºC is as follows:water 0.025mg/L. Stable in neutral and acidic media. At 22ºC, the half-life in water is 960d (pH 4), 580d(pH 7), 11d(pH 9 ~ 11).

Application
Benzoylurea insecticides are inhibitors of chitin synthesis. The action is slow, has no absorption effect, has a certain touch effect, and has ovicidal activity. It can be used for corn, cotton, soybean, fruit trees, forests, vegetables and other crops, to control Coleoptera, diptera, lepidoptera, psyllidae pest larvae, to control cotton bollworm, cabbage moth, gypsy moth, housefly, mosquito, Coleus butterfly, fir moth, potato leaf beetle, and to control termites. The dosage was 561g/100m2. Bolubicide can hinder the formation of exoskeleton during molting of larvae, and the sensitivity of different instars of larvae to the drug is not much different, so it can be used in all instars of larvae.
