It is a common thiosulfate, colorless transparent monoclinic crystal with a density of 1.667 g/cm 3. The melting point at standard atmospheric pressure is 48 degrees Celsius.

Sodium thiosulfate, chemical formula Na2S2O3, is a colorless crystalline solid with certain solubility and stability. It is an important reducing agent and has a wide range of applications in chemical experiments and industrial production.
