Potassium carbonate (chemical formula: K2CO3, English name: Potassium carbonate), colorless crystal or white particles, hygroscopic, soluble in water. Its solution is weakly alkaline. Insoluble in alcohols and ethers. It can be obtained by reacting with carbon dioxide. Potassium carbonate is found in plant ash, a common fertilizer.

Usage

Potassium carbonate, crystalline product is white translucent small crystals or particles, odorless, has a strong alkali taste, hypersonic, exposure to air can absorb carbon dioxide and water, converted into potassium bicarborate, should be sealed packaging.

Potassium carbonate is used for manufactring potassium glass / soap, industrial gass and removal of hydrogen sufide and carbon dioxide,
welding,printing ink manufacturing,printing and dyeing industry, etc.
