Usage

1. Mainly used for manufacturing precision optical glass and optical fiber. Also used in the electronics industry as ceramic capacitors, piezoelectric ceramic admixture. It is also used as raw material for lanthanum boride and catalyst for oil separation and refining.

2. Used in the manufacture of special alloy precision optical glass, high refraction optical fiberboard and camera, camera, microscope lens and advanced optical instrument prism. The ceramic industry is used to manufacture ceramic capacitors, piezoelectric ceramic additives and X-ray luminescent materials such as lanthanum bromide oxide powder. Used as a catalyst for a variety of reactions. Lanthanum oxide is leached into lithium oxide or zirconia for the manufacture of ferrite magnets. It is used to improve the temperature dependence and dielectric properties of barium titanate and strontium titanate ferroelectrics, and to manufacture fiber optics and optical glasses.
