It is excellent as a highly safe flame retardant, it can be compounded to high concentrations in EVA, EEA, PE, PP, EPDM, ect. It improves arc and tracking resistance, improves polypropylene's M.F.1,flexural modulus and impact strength, prevents corrosion of molding machines and mold dies. Heat capacity of endothermic decomposition per unit of weight is higher than ATH. It is superior to ATH in improving electrical properties and resistance to thermal aging(volume resistivity, dielectric constant, dielectric loss tangent of compounds). It has synergistic effects with red phosphorus.
