Potassium carbonate (chemical formula: K2CO3, English name: Potassium carbonate), colorless crystal or white particles, hygroscopic, soluble in water. Its solution is weakly alkaline. Insoluble in alcohols and ethers. Potassium carbonate is found in plant ash, a common fertilizer. Potassiumcarbonate (chemical formula :K2CO3, Potassiumcarbonate), also known as potassium alkali, is colorless crystal or white particles in appearance, easily soluble in water, and its solution is strongly alkaline. When the saturated aqueous solution was cooled, the glassy monoclinic crystal hydrate 2K2CO3·3H2O crystallized out with a density of 2.043, and the crystal water was lost at 100ºC.
