Properties:
Methyl maltol is white to yellowish acicular crystal or crystalline powder. It has a special aroma like burnt cream sugar, and the dilute solution has a strawberry flavor.  Natural products are found in stir-fried malt, pine needles and chicory.
Usage:
Methyl maltol is often used in daily necessities flavor formulations, but the amount is very low. Used for pine needles, rose type, warm and sweet effect. It is mainly used to prepare strawberry, coffee, malt, nut, vanilla and various fruit flavors. For bread, cakes have a freshly baked flavor. And generally can be used as a sweetener.
