Mainly used as liquid phase oxidation catalyst, such as for the preparation of terephthalic acid; Used as a desiccant for paints and varnishes; Additives for aluminum surface treatment agents; Pigments for ceramics; Foam stabilizer for ale nitrile drinks. It is also used in the synthesis of Salen compounds.
