Devinylbenzene has two vinyl groups, is reactive, and can generate insoluble polymers with three-dimensional structures, which is an important crosslinker. It is widely used in the manufacture of ion exchange resins, unsaturated polyester resins, ABS resins, polystyrene resins and modified styrene-butadiene rubber, and is also used as a cross-linking agent for styrene, butadiene and other copolymers and acrylate emulsion polymerization. Generally, the crosslinking speed of p-divinylbenzene is faster, and the higher the para-content, the better the performance of the prepared resin. In addition, it is also used in wood processing and in the manufacture of flame retardants.
