Sodium dicyandiamide is a colorless to light yellow solid with two crystal forms, and exists as a monoclinic crystal system below 33 °C, with space group P21/n; Above this temperature are orthorhombic crystals, space group Pbnm.
Usage: Sodium dicyandiamide is an important chemical raw material, widely used in medicine, dyes and pesticide industries, its most important application is the synthesis of antibacterial agent chlorhexidine hydrochloride and synthesis of sulfonon herbicide intermediate triazine ring.
Preparation steps: 1. halide are mixed in the pre-reactor under the condition of 0-20ºC to obtain the mixed material, and the pH value of the mixed material is 6-9; Step 2, provide a reactor, the reactor is provided with an interconnected reactor, a condensing tube reactor and a liquid alkali storage tank, and the mixed material is transported to the reactor reactor, and the temperature of the mixed material in the reactor is 0-50ºC; Step 3. Pump the mixed material solution into the condensing tube reactor, adjust the pH value of the mixed material to 7-10, and at the same time, the condensate tube reactor is fed into the halide for reaction, and the reaction liquid falls back to the reactor after the condensing tube reactor, when the pH value of the reaction liquid is stable at 7.5-10. The circulating material is carried on to the next step: decolorization, crystallization and washing; Step 4. Repeat the cyclic reaction steps of step 3 to prepare sodium dicyandiamide.
