Application

Sodium hypophosphate is mainly used as a reducing agent for electroless nickel plating. It can combine with nickel to form chelates and control pH, which can effectively improve the surface properties and finish of nickel plating products. Widely used in electronics, machinery, petroleum, chemical, aviation, navigation, food, medicine and other industries.

Sodium hypophosphite can be used as a chemical reaction of catalyst,stabilizer.

Sodium hypophosphite is used in making plastic, ceramic, glass, quartz, etc. Nonmetal material surface metallization.

Oilfield water treatment, the preparation of various industrial preservatives and scale inhibitor dispersant; Fabric finishing and pharmaceutical industries.

Sodium hypophosphite can be used as an antioxidant; The decoloring agent.

Usage

Colorless monoclinic crystal (or acicular crystal) powder, colorless, odorless, salty, deliquescent, soluble in water, glycerol, alcohol, insoluble in ether. 

It is mainly used as reducing agent for electroless plating. For large equipment and small objects that cannot be electroplated, or for complex shape with concave convex lines, or for inner wall of deep hole, or for surface hardness and wear resistance, or for surface metallization of plastic ceramics, glass, quartz and other non-metallic materials, dense and uniform Ni-P coating can be obtained, which is better than electroplating. Widely used in electronics, aviation, machinery, petroleum and other industries. It can also be used as interface activator, molecular weight regulator and heat stabilizer of synthetic resin. In recent years, it is widely used in the field of phosphorus flame retardant and cement admixture, which plays a significant role in improving the quick drying rate and firmness of concrete.
