Ethyl oleate is a fatty acid ester formed by the condensation of oleic acid and ethanol. It is a colorless to light yellow liquid. Ethyl oleate is produced by the body during ethanol intoxication.

Ethyl oleate is used as a solvent for pharmaceutical drug preparations involving lipophilic substances such as steroids. It also finds use as a lubricant and a plasticizer.

Ethyl Oleate used in the preparation of surfactants and other organic chemicals. It is also used   as perfume, excipients, plasticizer and ointment matrix.  Lubricant. Water resistant agent.   Resin  toughening agent. The stationary phase of gas chromatography (maximum temperature   is 120 ºC)

Usage

1. Mainly used as lubricant, water resistant agent, solvent, oil carrier and synthetic resin toughening agent. As a chemical reagent, it is mainly used as a stationary liquid for gas chromatography (maximum operating temperature 120ºC).

2. Can be used in daily chemical flavor and food flavor formulations. Commonly used in baked goods, frozen dairy products, beverages.
